Representatives from the Regional Advocacy Center Delcevo and the Municipality  Delcevo in leadership of the mayor Mr. Mirko Ivanov, visited several municipalities in R.Croatia where the Green Agenda is being implemented for four years. The delegation visited the municipalities Cakovec, Nedelisce and St. Martin of Mura. A host of the delegation, among the highest management representatives of the mentioned  municipalities and the mayors was also the citizen association ZEO NOBILIS from Cakovec, which work on the Green agenda throughout the entire area Medjumurje region. During those two day, the host were talking with great impression and immense importance about the Green agenda results and the process of achieving the results one part of the project were visited on the very terrain:

• Renewing of the old mill of Mura river and enabling of touristic offer.

• Arranged path by the River Mura with benches, notice – boards and construction of bridge with natural materials

• Reconstruction and modernization of house of fishermen

• Building of 25 km sewage system network

• Arrangement of waste dumps and clearing old dumps, that is, their dislocation.

• Forming of three protected zones with territory of 200 hectares on places with wells for water supplying of the Megjumurje region and automatist as well as introduction of computer technology of the pump station.

• Protection of the cultural monument “Chiga” old well

Many other projects are realized, with gratitude to the Green agenda, a document which the hosts pleasantly refer to as the constitution for ecology and cultural heritage.

A-art from Green agenda, one of the purposes of the visit was also finding a partner town of municipality Delcevo for cooperation on all filed, especially for mutual application to the EU Funds through the IPA instrument. The visit was financially supported by the Foundation Open Society Institute Macedonia and the Local self government unit – Delcevo through a project of the RAC Delcevo.

Association of Local Authors, Pijanecki glas from Delcevo realized another local initiative on 10 September 2006.

Members of ALA Pijanecki glas, representatives of City Council and Local self Government, representatives from church St. Bogorodica and Local coordinators from NGO SC Delcevo visited village Brajchino, Municipality of Resen in purpose to collect experience from citizen of Brajchino and project they realized to promote alternative tourism.

The aim of this visit was to initiate ides to provide organizing approach in using of nature, tradition and folk customs in region of Pijanec (Delcevo and villages) and the possibilities of development of alternative tourism.

Training on topic “Partnership” was held during 26-28 November 2005 in NGO SC Delcevo. Trainers were Ms. Julijana Daskalov and Mr. Martin Martinoski from Mileukontakt KOCKA Skopje.

14 NGOs’ representatives from Delcevo (7), Makedonska Kamenica (1), Vinica (2), Pehcevo (4), 2 representatives from Local Self Government from Delcevo and Vinica and 1 journalist from RTD attended the training. Total # 13 NGOs, 2 representatives from Local Self Government and 1 journalist.

It was a pleasure for trainers and participants to work together, to learn about partnership and trough practical way to show their creativity. At the end participants were split in two groups to build a bridge as a symbolic example for better communication between the NGO, Local Self Government and Business Sector. Ms. Daskalov said that it was the most successful and beautiful bridge she had seen.

Diplomas were disseminated and according to the evaluation results, the training passed excellent.

The third phase of the training “Advocacy and Lobbying and Financial Sustainability” was realized in Motel Gradce, Kocani during 16-19 November 2005. Trainers were Ms. Elsebeth Krough and Ms. Helen Springall Bach (COWI) and Ms. Emina Nuredinoska and Mr. Fatmir Bitiki (MCIC).

NGOs’ representatives (Aronija, Dozdovnik, Kham, Sudbina, Porta, Phurt, GAMA, Kladenec, Raven, Napredok and Dajakere cave) from Delcevo, Pehcevo and Berovo, attended the training.

Local Coordinators attended the training too.

Association of citizens Pijanec from Delcevo held tribune on topic “Archeological and culture heritage in Delcevo municipality.” The speaker was Ms. Lena Popovska from Skopje City Museum and Mr. Marijan Jovanovski from the Institute for history and art with archeology from Skopje spoke about the archeological places which were research.

There was huge interest about this topic as a reason for great discovered ritual grave coach 2 km from the town.

The event was broadcasted by local TV RTD and fund by FOSI-M.

Training on topic “Relations with media” was held on 29 October 2005 in NGO SC Delcevo. Trainers were Ms. Biljana Bejkova and Mr. Goran Velickovski from NGO Info Centre.

11 NGOs’ representatives from Delcevo (10) and Makedonska Kamenica (1) and 1 representative from Local Self Government attended the training.

The trainers showed their professionalism and the participants were delighted by the training and found it very useful, especially learned skills for making press conference, Press Release and interview.

Training on topic “Project Cycle Managment” was realized in NGO Support Centre Delcevo during 25-27 October 2005. Trainers were Mr. Danco Uzunov, Mr. Vladimir Grozdev and Mr. Zdravko Lazarevski from B2 Consallting.

15 NGOs’ representatives from Delcevo (4), Pehcevo (2), Makedonska Kamenica (3), Vinica (2), Berovo (2) and Kocani (2) and 1 representative from Local Self Government Delcevo, attended the training.

There were representatives who had some knowledge in writhing Project proposal and managing with it but also there were opposite. Participants learned about Logical Frame work Approach, Project team etc, and got deserved diplomas.

Оn 26 October 2005, workshop on topic “Foreign investments and their meaning for development of private companies and municipalities in Republic of Macedonia”, was organized by Agency for Foreign Investments of Republic of Macedonia and German Technical Help. This event is first of planed 14 in Macedonia, and Delcevo. NGO SC-Delcevo supported this event with equipment needed for presentation

In Daily Care Centre-Delcevo workshop on topic “Collaboration and help” was hold, organized by NGO Bravura Kooperativa from Delcevo, project fund by FOSI-M. 16 students from State’s Secondary School M. M. –Brico from Delcevo worked on making plans for activities for 3 December, World’s Day for people with special needs.
